Yeah, I stole this from my last blog… still seems appropriate. This blog is ramblings and musings from a native Atlantan trying to figure out the next steps as I start my new journey called (hopefully!) author! Short stories coming soon, but for now, we ramble.

You’ve rented a sky-writer to propose to your significant other, but it’s completely overcast. What will you do? Use Green smoke instead of white.
So way back in the day, I used to be a pretty good writer. I have gotten away from that over the years, so I thought I would see if I still “had it”. I am not going to try to be funny or clever, just get some of the things that happen to me and around me recorded. (My friend Steph should do the same…she sees the craziest stuff)
Here is a little about me… I am 38, newly married to a wonderful man, have two dogs and live in a nice suburb of Atlanta. I am retired from the restaurant industry (20 years there) and have been working 9-5 since 2008. You wanna shock your system? Go from working nights and weekends and sleeping until past noon to getting up at 7(ish) and staying focused all day working then taking care of house and stuff at night. The dogs and I like to be in bed around 10 now! :) I do love having my weekends free.
I am a huge sports fan. My favorite teams include the Atlanta Braves, Pittsburgh Steelers, Atlanta Falcons and the Pittsburgh Penguins. This was a great year…
I have some of the best friends a girl could ask for. That is no lie. I have some lifelong friends that I don’t know where I would be without them…Two of them were my maid and matron of honor in my wedding. This is them at the rehearsal. :) Silly girls…
I am truly blessed with my life and I know it.
